Reverend Fr. Stephen A. McBride is an ordained Presbyter/Priest in the Charismatic Old Catholic Church, an offshoot of the Roman Catholic Church, his ordination is of apostlic succession. A proud graduate of Trinity High School in Louisville, he cheers, "Go Rocks!" He furthered his education at the University of Louisville and Bellarmine Catholic University, earning a Bachelor of Science in People Management from Indiana Wesleyan University. Additionally, he holds a Diploma in Divinity and Ministry, as well as a Bachelor of Divinity from Christian Leaders Institute. Fr. McBride also holds a Master’s in Information Technology from Western Governors University, a Master’s in Pastoral Leadership from Queens University and a handful of technical and project certifications. He completed his Doctorate of Ministry in Pastoral Counseling at Agape Seminary of Louisville and is currently pursuing a second Doctorate in Biblical Studies.
Once a fifth generation boat Captain for his family business that operates on the US inland river tributaries, Rev. McBride also holds a Merchant Mariners Officer credential as a Master of Steam or Motor and Towing Vessels upon the Western Rivers.
Education and personal achievements are paramount to Rev. McBride, but his love for Jesus Christ surpasses all degrees, awards, and honors. He recognizes that it is by God's love, grace and mercy that makes everything possible in his life. Beyond the church, he serves the community as a PRN Chaplain at a local nursing home. He works in Information and Cyber Security Compliance for a Chicago-based company. He is a devoted husband to his wife, Amy, and father to two grown children. Currently, Stephen and Amy are also fostering five children, whom they love dearly.
